Beth Rudie and Karen Janssen-Potter receive the Volunteer Excellence Award for October.

November 09, 2006 -
Beth Rudie was recognized for her work with on the Community Impact Committee. She graciously stepped up and became chair of the Community Impact committee due to a vacancy and graciously assumed most of the work until the committee could meet again. For example, she volunteered to take care of the Cops N Kids birthday treats at the end of Sept., before most of the general members knew about the program.

Karin Janssen -Potter was recognized for her work chairing the Attic Ad Hoc Committee. She has done a great job directing the committee and looking at some very difficult questions regarding whether to keep The Attic open, close it, or move it. She has gone well beyond the call of duty in chairing this committee.
